Viyona - 3

The Varin International Residential School organized an activity exhibition “VIYONA – 3” on 20th February 2020, Thursday. Children were demonstrated various activities of different subjects. Best performers were awarded in this event. Ms. Mamatha Suresh, Secretary of Virat trust presided the event. Ms. Ammajamma, Trustee of Virat Trust, Mr. Senthil Principal and Mr. Shivakumar, Vice-principal were witnessed the event and congratulated the children and teachers for their great effort.

Farewell for x class

At Varin, “Farewell” was organized by the students and teachers of Class IX on 01st Feb 2019 where students of Class IX bid Farewell to the outgoing students of Class X with great enthusiasm. The program began with the invocation and the lighting of the lamp by the revered Veereshananda swamiji from Ramakrishna Ashram Tumkur, management, Principal and teaching staffs. The teachers welcomed the students with their enthusing words and good wishes. Students of Class IX presented an incredible dance that rocked the audience. The outgoing students were awarded compliments and mementoes. Few teachers enlightened the students with their inspirational words.

Republic Day Celebration

The Varin International Residential School, Tumkur celebrated 71 st Republic Day. Inter house patriotic song competition was organized, children’s actively participated in the event. Speeches were given by the teachers to inculcate the importance of Republic day among students. Management, Principal and Staff presided over the function.

8th Deputy Chief Minister Of Karnataka , Minister of Higher education

C.N AShwath Narayan visited our school on 22 nd January 2020, gave some tips to students regarding importance of education, career, growth and development, importance of sports . He was honored by the management, principal and staffs.

Drawing competition in co-ordination with Prajavani and Deccan herald

Varin School had organised a drawing competition for schools in and around Tumkur. More than 500 students participated in the event and bagged prizes for their creative drawings.

Religious Festivals

Festival enable children as well as elders to celebrate the joy of being together and their happiness with family and friends. It also promotes the development of our cultural heritage and stimulates the feelings of oneness, co-operation, and preservation of our old traditions and customs. We at varin celebrate all festivals like Varamahalakshmi festival, Krishna Janmastami Festival, Gowri Ganesha Festival, Ayudha Pooja, Eid Milad, Christmas, Sankranthi and many more to show that “India is a land of Unity and Diversity”.

Assembly Activities

To provide information about daily activities in the school, give general knowledge about current affairs and other events we organize various assembly activities which motivates the students to involve themselves and gain good knowledge on the same.

Pre-Primary Activities

To provide knowledge to kids through practical training, we organized Fruits Day, Chef’s Day, Dolls Day, vegetables day, Community Helpers Day, Birthday Celebrations and many more.

Annual Day

The Annual Mega event, Varin Utsav-12 was celebrated on 21st December 2019. More than 1200 Participants performed on stage and more than 8000 Spectators will witness the event. For this event, famous personalities, achievers, great players, politicians, Supreme Court Judges, Reverend Swamiji took part in it.

Motivational Session

Varin International Residential School has organised a motivational session for teachers on the topic “If not you, then who! If not now, then when! “And a topic for students “Education is a festival – celebrate”. By Mr. Chethan Ram R A, an international trainer on personality Development presided over the function.

Skating Championship

We are proud to share that Varin students Likith Raj of Gr.IX, Srujan M Kumar of Gr. III, Nischitha K S of Gr. IV have participated in 18th District Speed Roller Skating Championship and selection Trials -2019 conducted on Nov 01st 2019 and have been selected for State Level.

School Ranking 2019-2020

We are delighted to share that, our school has “Ranked No.1 in India” under the category “Top Day Cum Boarding School” for the academic year 2019-20 in a survey conducted by Education Today.

On Spot Drawing and Painting Competition

We are glad to inform you that, our students Yogeesh K M of Grade X has secured 1st Prize, Vikyatha D A of Gr. X and Mrudul Gowda U S of Grade VIII have secured consolation Prizes in the On Spot Drawing and Painting Competition conducted by SSIT, Tumkur. Our School has received “Best School Award”.

Colours Day

Colour plays a vitally important role in the world in which we live. We celebrated Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, and Orange Days to inculcate the importance of colours in pre-primary kids.

Children’s Day

Children’s Day is celebrated to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is celebrated on 14th November every year as a tribute to India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.

Educational Tour

We organized an excursion for the students of all the grades during the month of November. Pre-Primary students visited Dharmashree Resort. Primary students visited to the Dream land resort, Middle school students visited Vizak and High School students Gujarat.

National Festivals

National Festivals play an important role in order to spread the message of freedom, peace, and harmony across the nation. We Celebrated Independence Day, Kannada Rajyotsava in our school to promote communal harmony and also to preserve our culture and heritage.

Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration on

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated in Varin International Residential School, Tumkur on 02nd October 2019 on account of Birthday of the Father of the Nation. The Management, Principal, Teachers & Students participated in the celebration with more enthusiasm.

Skating Competition

We are delighted to share that Varin students have participated in the 1st Inter-District Roller Skating Championship Organised by NTDRSA and Karnataka Roller Skating Association on 4th Aug 2019 and won various Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

1. Likith Raj of Gr. IX and Rachith P of Gr. I have bagged 2 Gold medals.

2. Srujan M kumar of Gr. III have bagged 1 gold and 1 Silver medal.

3. Santhoshini Girija devi of Gr. III and Mohith R of Prep. II have won 1 silver medal.

4. Pankaj of Gr. VIII have won 2 Bronze medals.

5. Yadavi of Gr. III, Prathigna R Javai of Gr. VI, Eshwar of Gr. VIII have bagged 1 Bronze medal.

Cricket Competition

We are delighted to share that Master. Hemanth P.D, Vaibhav J P, Rishikesh of Gr. IX and Among of Gr.X have been selected for Division Level Cricket Competition conducted by the Department of Public Education. Hearty congratulations.

Teacher's Day Celebration on

We Celebrate Teacher’s day on September 05th every year to honour Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan as it is his birth Anniversary and a day dedicated to teachers and their contributions in shaping one’s life.

Skating Competition

We are happy to share that, our students have bagged 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 3 Bronze Medals in the Inter-District Roller Skating Championship, Tumkur. Congratulations to all!

Athletics Competition

We are delighted to share that Varin student Master Prajan Gowda P of Grade VIII who participated in Discus Throw, secured the 1st place and bagged Gold Medal and got selected for National Level, held on 1st August 2019 to 3rd August 2019 at Sri Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore Conducted by Councils National Sports & Games 2019.

Yoga Competition

We are delighted to share that Varin student, Master Tejas T M of Grade X who has participated in Rhythmic Yoga Competition secured the 1st place and bagged Gold Medal and got selected for National Level. Master Nagadarshan, Master Tejas T M of Grade X Master Harshil Gowda of Grade VIII, Master Guruprasad of Grade VIII has participated in Athletic Yoga and secured 3rd place and has bagged Bronze Medal held on 24th July 2019 at Deccan International School, Bangalore Conducted by Councils National Sports & Games 2019.

Taekwondo Competition

We are delighted to share that Varin students Master Raghav of Grade VI have participated in Taekwondo Competition and have bagged Gold Medal and selected for National Level. Bharath of Grade VII have bagged Bronze Medal. Conducted by Councils National Sports & Games 2019.

Skating competition

We are delighted to share that Varin student Master Likith Raj of Grade IX have participated in Skating competition and have bagged 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal in Inline and Road Race conducted by ICSE Council’s National Sports and Games 2019.

Gymnastics competition

We are delighted to share that Varin student, Bhavya G N of Gr.V have participated in Gymnastics Competition and have bagged second place in Uneven Bars Event and selected for National Level. Conducted by Councils National Sports & Games 2019.

Volley Ball Competition

We are delighted to share that Varin students have bagged 2nd Runner Up in Volley Ball Tournament in the ICSE Council's National Sports and Games 2019. Master Yogeesh K M of Grade X has selected for National Level.

Investiture Ceremony

The Varin International Residential School, celebrated the Investiture Ceremony of the School Cabinet Council Election on 29th June 2019. Management and the Principal handed over the flags and badges to the respective captains.

Doctor’s Day Celebration

To mark the birth and death anniversary of the most famous Physician of India Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy and to recognize the contributions of Physicians to individual lives we celebrated Doctor’s Day in our school during the Assembly time.

School Election

School cabinet election was held on 19th June 2019. It was conducted on the norms of election committee. Around 40 contestants participated in the elections. All the election activities were carried out by the committee and headed by Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Siddaramanna.The committee distributed the logs to the contestants. The principal Mr.Senthil.R supervised the activities of election and wished all the future leaders.

Welcome Back to School

We started our current academic year 2019-20 on June 03rd 2019 with lots of hopes, Enthusiasm, positive energy by all our students and staff’s. Our teacher’s welcomed all our students in assembly.
