Makara Sankranthi is believed traditionally to mark the arrival of spring in India. As it is the festival of Sun God and he is regarded as the symbol of divinity and wisdom, the festival also holds an eternal meaning to it. We had a Special Assembly for Makara Sankranthi organized by Grade VI Students. Students narrated how the Harvest festival is celebrated in various States of India. Harvest festival was celebrated by students with songs and dance performance.

The National Youth Day, in commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s birthday, was celebrated in the school on 12th January by the students. The assembly began with a prayer service for the youth. A number of invocations were made for various intentions of the youth. The students then enriched us with the life history of Swami Vivekananda which included information about his birth, the efforts he had put in to empower the youth, throughout India and abroad.

We have organized a Medical Health Check-up Camp for the students of Grades V to X to spread awareness about health check-ups and to maintain a healthy life. A team of dedicated doctors conducted the camp, including General Physical examination, Dental Check-up,s and Eye, skin & Ear check-ups. The program started at 10.00 AM with the introductory speech given by our respected principal sir and the head of the doctor’s team who came to our school. Students were advised some food and exercises by the doctors to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
